P.A.M.S. Career Fair

Princess Anne Middle School will be hosting a career fair for our 8th grade students on Friday, May 3rd, 2019.  We would like to extend an invitation to PAMS stakeholders to participate as presenters on Friday, May 3rd, 2019, from the hours of 9:00 to 12:30 pm (including breakfast during set up  ).  The aim of this event is to allow our students to receive career related guidance by visiting exhibits of various businesses, industries and professional organizations.  We hope to educate our rising high school students about the variety of careers that exist, and the preparation needed to embark upon these career paths. Students will no doubt have questions regarding currently employed professionals, the logistics of the profession and how to begin their trajectories towards career interests and objectives. Our students love any interactive activities and/or props or pamphlets you can assemble.  We are happy to compensate your efforts by thanking you publicly via our various school publications and media outlets. If you know individuals who may be interested, please feel free to forward this email.

If you are interested, please contact Corey McGinnis, 8th grade counselor, for Princess Anne Middle School, at [email protected]   or 757-648-4962.  I will need a succinct list of committed presenters by Friday, April 5th, 2019.  We are slightly limited by space; however, I am happy to host as many presenters as we can safely accommodate for the benefit of our students.  Thank you in advance for all of your contributions and participation!
