Dr. Brown - Principal

Dr. Brown began her career with VBCPS in 1996 at Lynnhaven Middle School where she started the division’s first middle school level reading program.   In 2005-2006. she served as an administrative assistant at both Bayside and Landstown Middle Schools.  She was an assistant principal at Lynnhaven Middle, Frank W. Cox High School and Tallwood High School.  In 2011, she was named the Virginia Association of Secondary School Principals’ Outstanding Assistant Principal of Virginia.  In 2012, she was appointed as principal at Virginia Beach Middle School.  

She earned a Bachelors degree in English and a Masters degree in Reading from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.  She also earned her Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Virginia Tech in 2005.  She received her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Virginia Tech in 2009.

Dr. Brown and her husband, a former United States Marine, have one son, Nick, who attended Kingston Elementary, Lynnhaven Middle, Virginia Beach Middle, and who graduated from First Colonial High School in June.  Nick is starting his freshman year at Virginia Tech.

She is excited and humbled to be selected to serve the students, parents and community of Princess Anne Middle School.

Mr. Bucholz

Mr. Bucholz - Assistant Principal 

As a native of Virginia Beach, Zack Bucholz is familiar with the traditions, values, and history of our community. As a proud graduate of Ocean Lakes High School, he pledged to provide students with the same quality instruction he received from VBCPS. 

Mr. Bucholz is a proud Pirate alumnus from East Carolina University, having completed his B.S. and M.A.Ed. in history education in 2008. He earned an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from Old Dominion University in 2015.

Prior to coming to Princess Anne MS, Mr. Bucholz worked as a high school social studies teacher at Green Run High School, where he was awarded Teacher of the Year. Later, Mr. Bucholz served as an instructional coach in a national research study supporting multi-tiered systems of support for student behavior. 

In addition to his role as assistant principal, Mr. Bucholz is a husband and a father of two young children. He is excited to be a part of the Princess Anne MS community, and looks forward to working with everyone.

Ms. Morris - Assistant Principal 

Ms. Morris is a native Floridian.  She is a graduate of The University of South Florida, Ohio University, and Nova Southeastern University.  Ms. Morris is the mother of two amazing young men.  One son is in his fourth year at The University of Virginia, and the other son attends a local private college preparatory school.  She is the third daughter of four girls:  all being in the field of education.  Ms. Morris has been employed by Virginia Beach City Public Schools since 1999.  Her first job was as the choral director at Bayside Middle School from 1999-2004.  Following this, Ms. Morris was appointed to the position of assistant principal to Larkspur Middle School from 2004-2010.  Then she moved to Corporate Landing Middle School from 2010-2016.  And now she is a Princess Anne Middle School Panther.  Ms. Morris hobbies include:  hanging with her family, watching and attending sporting events (especially when her children are playing), cheering for the Florida Gators, traveling, singing, shopping, and going to church.  She looks forward to working the P.A. Panthers students, faculty, staff, parents, and community.

Ms. Trumble

Ms. Trumble - Assistant Principal 

Ms. Trumble joined Virginia Beach City Public Schools in 2003 as a Social Studies teacher and a Varsity Volleyball coach at Salem High School. She served as an Assistant Principal at Green Run High School for 10 years prior to becoming part of the Larkspur Middle Family

Ms. Trumble is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Education. She is also a graduate of The George Washington University, with a Masters of Arts in Education and Human Development.

Ms. Bell

Mrs. Bell - School Improvement Specialist

Mrs. Bell has been a member of our PAMS family for the last 4 years.  Previously she taught at Landstown High School as a World History teacher.  She is a product of Virginia Beach City Public Schools, graduating from Kellam High School in 2001.  Mrs. Bell completed her Bachelor of Arts in History from Longwood University and her Master of Education in School Administration from the University of Virginia.  In her spare time, you can find her spending time with her husband and daughter, running races, or playing with her Golden Retriever, Harbour.

Mr. Clark

Mr. Clark - Student Activity Coordinator

Mr. Zeb Clark has been the Student Activities Coordinator at PAMS for the past five years.  Before joining us, he was an office associate at Landstown High School as well as a football coach at LHS.  He is a product of our division as a proud Kempsville High School graduate.  He received his BS from James Madison University.  In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and son.
