Our School
Mission
In partnership with home and community, the mission of Princess Anne Middle School is to develop students as scholars who are curious, creative, and critical thinkers, leaders who are empathetic, collaborative and effective communicators, and citizens who are civic-minded, socially responsible, and ethical contributors to a global society.
About Us
Princess Anne Middle School serves a student population that represents the varied interests of our city. The farming community, military dependents, Sandbridge residents, and a multitude of hard working families are residents of the new boundaries for Princess Anne Middle. The school serves students who attended Creeds, Christopher Farms, North Landing (Blackwater), Princess Anne, Red Mill, and Strawbridge Elementary Schools.
With interscholastic competitions, our teams have won numerous Southern Division and City Championships. We have also received several honors with our music departments as well as our drama team. We look forward to another successful year with all of our extra-curricular activities this year.
PAMS continues to receive full accreditation status from the Virginia Department of Education. Also, we achieved our goals for making Adequate Yearly Progress under the federal No Child Left Behind Act. Outstanding teaching and instruction help to continue this high level of achievement.
